Newbie Help for dress code

Postby andytaylor98 » 01 Feb 2010, 07:59

Following all the various threads etc, combined with the fact that this is my first ball has managed to confuse me totally re what I should wear. The basic question is am I going to look out of place in a Tux for the Friday night cocktail party and the Saturday night ball?

One year i wore a suit for the cocktail party and a tux for the meal.
As long as you dont wear jeans and t shirt for either you should be fine.

As Newbie liaison I was going to spout forth with a great reply but I see that my glamorous assistant CarlisleKeith has beaten me to it!

So... What CK says!

You can also do Fancy Dress on either of these nights if you wish but the cocktail party is Smart!

Looking forward to meeting you!
